As a person who loves the sea, and as a diver who knows its pitfalls, I distrust fair weather captains. Competence and value of the boss on the bridge have to be proven in the storm, in the fog and at open sea. Similarly, it happens to me as an interim manager, which is usually fetched when the situation is gone and must achieve a turn for the better in a short time. As Feelgood manager I can not do that.
