Ambidexterity – a wonderful word. Hardly anyone understands it, you can talk about it much better.
Out of sheer processes, SOPs, procedural and behavioral rules, we have become blind to the obvious things. Stoic and dull we run on well-trodden paths, we go pre-marked paths …
… instead of occasionally raising your head, giving us an overview and finding your way.
Undoubtedly, processes and SOPs have their right to exist; where highly automated operations produce quality and productivity. They want to do their job in these places.
However, we must keep in mind that processes are also mental restraints. In principle, they threaten the creativity of people and companies.
It is therefore important to find a new balance, especially for companies that operate in highly regulated markets.
